Rachel S. Woods, Ph.D.
Dr. Woods is an Alaskan born clinical neuropsychologist committed to serving the community she grew up in. She completed her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Western Colorado University in 2009. She completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2012, and went on to complete a joint Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2017. Dr. Woods has extensive experience providing evaluation and therapy services through her various roles in local non-profits in southcentral Alaska.
Dr. Woods completed an accredited predoctoral internship at the Hawaii Psychological Internship Consortium (HI-PIC) providing therapy and evaluation services to youth and families on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. After graduating with her doctorate degree in 2017, she completed an accredited two year-postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Woods has been providing neuropsychological evaluations to patients throughout the state of Alaska in the private practice setting since 2018. She enjoys working with patients and their families to provide diagnostic clarity, assess neurocognitive functioning and provide individualized treatment recommendations.
Dr. Woods has experience providing neuropsychological evaluation services to patients across the lifespan. She has completed neuropsychological evaluations for individuals experiencing co-occurring psychological disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, genetic disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, seizure disorders, and movement disorders. She is invested in providing culturally competent care, has experience working with LGBTQ+ youth, and values the opportunity to work with diverse people from all backgrounds.

Dr. Woods office is located in midtown Anchorage at 188 W Northern Lights Blvd, Suite 1110 on the corner of Northern Lights Blvd and C St.
Visitor parking is located on the 1st level of the parking garage, P1. Parking is free of charge.
You will take the elevators at the center of the parking garage to the 11th floor. After you exit the elevators, turn left and proceed around the corner to the end of the hall. Our office door is on the right side at the end of the hallway, labelled Suite 1110.
