Referral and Scheduling Policies
Initial steps to scheduling
Dr. Woods requires a medical referral for all patients seen in her office. Typically referrals are provided by primary care physicians, neurologist, psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, or mental health clinicians. Referrals can be faxed to 907-615-4822.
All patients are required to complete intake paperwork prior to scheduling appointments. Please contact our scheduler for assistance with this process at info@woodsneuropsych.com.
Cancellation rules
There is a firm no show policy in place. Patients will be charged $200 for a no show or late cancellation. If a patient has two or more late cancellations/no shows, they will not be eligible to rebook at appointment without first paying a $500.00 no show fee. Please communicate with us if you are unable to make your appointment 48 hours in advance.
Payment guidelines
We are happy to provide the service of billing your insurance for your appointment. We accept commercial insurance including Aetna, BCBS, Premera, Moda, and also accept Tricare. Patients are ultimately responsible for their bill if their insurance is unwilling to cover the cost.
We do not accept Medicaid/DenaliKid Care or Medicare.
